Making an exhibition | Behind the Scenes

I am travelling…
Years now, on a steady course.
A geography well-formed by views, beliefs, ideologies, roles, stereotypes, criticisms, classifications, and dogmas, forms the World.
On this map I traveled my female vehicle, trying to understand me, the others, and the map, and through my choices, parts of it were reproduced again, and others were rejected.

– Who am I that makes those choices?
…..
I am Woman.
I am Companion.
I’m Mother.
But before that, long ago, I was Daughter.
Perhaps the whitest, most authentic, uncharted period of the journey…

Ταξιδεύω.
Χρόνια τώρα, πορεία σταθερή.
Μια γεωγραφία καλά σχηματισμένη από απόψεις, πεποιθήσεις, ιδεολογίες, ρόλους, στερεότυπα, επικρίσεις, κατατάξεις και δόγματα, σχηματίζει τον Κόσμο. 
Στον χάρτη αυτόν ταξίδεψα το θηλικό όχημα μου, προσπαθώντας να κατανοήσω εμένα, τους άλλους και τον χάρτη, και μεσα από τις επιλογές μου αναπαράχθηκαν ξανά κομμάτια του και απορρίφθηκαν άλλα.

– Ποιά είμαι εγώ που επιλέγω;
……
Είμαι Γυναίκα.
Είμαι Σύντροφος.
Είμαι Μάνα.
Μα πρίν από αυτά, πολύ πρίν, ήμουν Κόρη.
Ίσως η πιο λευκή, αυθεντική, αχαρτογράφητη περίοδος του ταξιδιού…”
